Great design is timeless and beautiful yet reflects the client’s taste. At Nancy A Home Design we create beautiful rooms that are cozy and want to be lived in. One of our unique strengths is the ability to blend vintage charm with modern elegance, whether it be a beach home, a mountain retreat, or a farmhouse in the countryside. I felt a passion for interior design at an early age and embarked on my creative journey as a child. I found myself transforming spaces, starting with my bedroom. With the help of two creative parents, we crafted plans for platform beds adorned with canopy drapes and frequently changed the paint colors on the walls. As the years passed my love and knowledge for design continued to expand. I delved into the world of rental properties, and house flipping working hand-in-hand with my husband, Scott. We increased the homes value by adding new life into these spaces, infusing them with style, functionality, and a touch of our unique vision. I became skilled at applying the budget to where we could obtain the biggest bang for the buck. I also have a love for adding new life to old furniture pieces, which will revitalize and add charm to any room. Over the past 30 years, I have transformed houses, into homes. I’ve created interiors that leave a lasting impression and bring joy to those who dwell in them.
When designing my
own space
I choose neutral backdrops and pops of soft muted paint colors. I use elegant timeless furniture pieces and fabrics such as washed Belgian linen. I love chandeliers, wall sconces, ornate oversized mirrors, fresh flowers, unique chairs, and decorative molding. Inspired by my love of the French countryside, I incorporate rustic elements, such as distressed wood, natural stone and wrought iron.
